May you be like a pencil

I've been reading a book by Paulo Coelho. I liked this author, his stories are inspirational and made me think about life :)

Here's one that I want to share from his short stories. It's about a pencil, and may each of us have the qualities of a pencil

1) We are capable of great things, but we must never forget that there's always a hand guiding us. We call this hand God, and if we allow Him to guide us, we can achieve greatness

2) Every now and then, a pencil become dull and it has to be sharpened. This hurts the pencil a bit, but afterwards it'll be sharper. Just is the same as us. We may face certain pain and defeat, but it will make us a stronger person

3) Using a pencil means we can use an eraser to rub out any mistakes. This means that correcting something we did may not necessarily be a bad thing.

4) What really matters for a pencil is not the wooden exterior, but the carbon inside. As are we, it is important to look at inside us.

5) The pencil will always leave a mark. In the same way, everything we do in life will leave a mark
